Creative Brief and Design Solution
The brand identity was created through an experimental process by using the brand name and unique character design. The process involved creating stencils from the logo icon and applying it to photography through different processes of digital and graffiti art to give the impression of the subject wearing the brand as a mask.
A primary logo was created using custom black letter typography with the ‘B’ forming the eyes and the ‘M’ representing the mouth. A vibrant green – colour picked from the spray paint used – was applied to create a vibrant eye-catching theme. It was important that the brand represented the uniqueness and underground connotations of the festival. The identity was applied across mediums such as posters, flyers, programmes and tickets.
